Lake Ridge Community Lodge

Lake Ridge Community Lodge in the Berkshires, FX Design was ask to update the lodge by using the colors from nature.

Lake Ridge Community Lodge in the Berkshires, FX Design was asked to update the lodge by using the colors from nature. We removed wiremolding on beams and decided to highlight the horizontal beams and downplay the vertical columns. We pulled the wall hues from the stone fireplace, adding a leaf pattern carpet to the flooring.

FX Design was asked to update the lodge by using the colors from nature. Notice the carpet design has a subtle leaf pattern, which is also great for hiding soil. We added wood horizontal blinds to continue the appeal of an outdoor environment. There is a pool adjacent to the lodge, so we specified chlorine resistant leather for the furniture upholstery to protect against guests sitting on the furniture after their return from the pool.
